Concrete Desert Creatures

Concrete Desert Creatures is an ongoing, immersive, travelling light installation. Over 30 sculptures, inspired by Dada and Surrealism, are accompanied by a sight specific story that allows one to discover the metaphoric layer beyond the real. Four chapters have been written so far. Each story is referring to greater contemporary discourses and available via audio guide, interactive QR codes or letterpressed booklets:

All figures have been developed through sketches, technical drawings and wire models. Structures out of construction rods had been welded and covered by hand-stitched Swiss fire-retardant textile. They are fitted with bespoke made neons mimicking candle warm light.
